I have seen someone asking about the Brown family. I have a Jesse Brown b;
1804 Long Island
died Fulton Co Ind. 1846. I have a notation saying he helped Joseph Smith
dig up the plates from which
the Book of Mormon is supposed to be written. Jesse's father is supposed to
be Thomas Brown born 
in France. I've started searching this name for my grandmother who's mother
was a Brown. Any information
any one has would be helpful. I also have more information further down the
line if someone wants it.
