According to Robert Scott Davis Jr in _The Georgia Black Book_, Thomas H.
DAWSON murdered John W. CHANDLER "on or about" September 24, 1870 in Irwin
County  GA.

Does anyone have info on "The Rest of The Story"?  Does anyone know if
there would be newspaper accounts of the event?  I believe the Ashburn GA
paper isn't that old, but I'm hoping someone researching the CHANDLERs, the
DAWSONs, or in that area of 1870's Georgia can help me locate the details.
