Subject: Help With SSDI
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I've never written the Social Security Administration for genealogical
information, and am not quite sure what to do.

I have the SSNs for a few relatives, and from the SSDI, I know the State
of Issuance and the Death Residence Locality. Now what do I do?

Do I write the Social Security Office for the Death Residence Locality?
Will that Social Security Office provide the SSN application, or the
death benefits statement, or both? What are the fees?

Appreciate any help. Happy Thanksgiving to all ROOTers!
