Hello to the lists. Just a cautionary note about the Social
Security information on the FHC disks: The first place given
is =not= the place of birth, it is the state where the SS number
was issued. If Aunt Martha was born in Nebraska but got her 
SS# in California, the screen or printout will say "issued" in
California.

 And the second place on the screen or printout is =not=
 necessarily the state where the person died, it is the state where the
person resided at time of death. So if Uncle Charley lived in New York,
but died on vacation in Arizona, it will say that his residence was
New York. 

I haven't used any of the commercial disks or websites that offer
SS information, so I can't say if they use the same place data,
but perhaps someone else can give that information.
