Every federal department, particularly those involved with law
enforcement, have an agent or staffer whose responsibility is to respond
to the general public's request for information re. past or completed
investigations. Such information can be released to the public through
the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). In Judy's situation, I would
suggest she call the nearest Secret Service office and speak with the
person incharge of FOIA, and ask how she should request info from the
USSS about her grandfather. Hope this works. If not, she should
contact her congress representative for assistance.

Happy Holidays to All

Mike
