These microfilm records are by County, by City. Does anyone live in or near NY City in NY County who might know if this record is in the city archives. I am looking for a man named Peter B. Van Arsdale who was born about 1837 and was living in NYC in 1860 so he likely served. Any help is appreciated. -- Alvie L.
