Dear Rooters
I have been told the Family History Center has a listing of microfilm
records for Soldiers who entered the Civil War and gives a great deal
of info about each soldier. These microfilm records are by County,
by City.
Does anyone live in or near NY City in NY County who might know if this
record is in the city archives. I am looking for a man named
Peter B. Van Arsdale who was born about 1837 and was living in NYC
in 1860 so he likely served.

Any help is appreciated.
