Just a quick observation regarding the IGI and Ancestral Files - I spent
4 hours today in West Covina and I found nearly as many errors as I did
correct information for my early Mass & Conn lines. This is not due to
the LDS or the FHC but rather poor research on behalf of the submitters.
I use the information only as a base to start on my own research, always
looking for documentation, particularly in the very early families. I
beleive it is one of the best sources to start you in the right
direction and the librarians and volunteers are always extremely
helpful.
