We may be quite used to heading for websites and other electronic information centers for our needs, but it is still person to person contact and the *squeaky wheel* philosophy which holds for most of the world out there. To repeat a thought posted on another list, even if you know the schedule for the Ancestors series in your area, call your local PBS station; ask for the Program Director -- NOT the receptionist; inquire about the schedule, reruns, Pledge Period plans -- anything which demonstrates your interest. Repeated inquiries WILL get their attention and will assist in future programming decisions. If you are already a member of your local PBS station, drop them a note with your next check thanking them for running the series or asking why they haven't scheduled it -- whichever is appropriate.
