Am searching for info. abt.: Edward FORBUS b. c1802 S.C. md. abt. 1838 in S.C. to Mary-----? ch: Franklin FORBUS b. c1838 S.C. Sarah Catherine FORBUS b. 1845 S.C. md. 1869 in Coosa Co. Al. to George W. RICHARDSON William FORBUS b. 1846 SC Thomas FORBUS b. 1847 SC John FORBUS b. 1849 ( md. Elizabeth SANFERD) There were several FORBUS/RICHARDSON marriages in Coosa Co. Al. but so far no connection to each other. There was a Josiah FORBUS shown in Coosa Co. Al., and in 1860 an Edward Forbus age 50 b. Ga. with wife Nancy and ch: John James Jane Jos. Wm. Mary and Andrew. What was the relationship? The inventory for the estate of Washington W. Richardson in 1868 shows notes owing from L.J. FORBUS, Edward FORBUS, and G.F. FORBUS.
