When a researcher runs across the problem of expired forwarding =
addresses (generally one year) they can send a letter to the postmaster =
at the last known area of the person in question. It requires two =
letters, one within the other, the outer letter addressed to the =
postmaster (plus a forwarding fee) asking that he forward the enclosed =
letter and the inner envelope containing the letter to the person sought =
- envelope unaddressed. The fowarding fee is set the same across the =
country so ask your local postmaster the amount of the fee. Assuming =
the person sought has not died this method usually gets results. I've =
traced several distant relatives in this manner. Angus P. Robinson
