Is anyone on this list in or near Lewistown, OH?  If so, is it possible that
you could tell me or look up for me information on Capt. John Lewis, the
man the town was named after, my info says he was a Shawnee Chief and 
married a Polly Keyser and they had two children.       

Supposedly that is the first that was heard from Polly after she was
kidnapped near Lexington,KY (Probably Paris in Bourbon Co.) during the
Indian Wars.  Her Father was John Keyser and Mother was Margaret, but, I
can't find anything on her mother or sister Nancy other than their names.

Something I have says that there is a historical marker in Lewistown
that says Capt. John Lewis lived 88' from that spot with his wife Polly
Keyser and children.

That there was a survey taken by Major Galloway (prob related to me also)
at that time which mentioned Polly Keyser, also.  I am working on the Keyser
/Kiser family tree which also includes the Galloway's so if anyone has any
information on these people or could look up a census record or that 
survey (if it still exists) it would really be helpful.  

All I do have on Polly is that her Father was John Keyser b.1745 and 
married a Margaret.

Other children:         Jacob - who married an Elizabeth
                        Elizabeth - who married a John Zinn in Bourbon co.
                                    1795.
                        Nancy - whom I have nothing else on.
                        John - b. 3/7/1777 in MD. and Died in 8/13/1849
                               In Bourbon Co., KY (Where my Father's line
                               is from).  He married an Ursula Routt on
                               10/28/1805 in Bracken Co., KY.  

Their Parents John and Margaret were my GGGG Grandfather.  My line
continuing with his son John and Ursula Routt.  I'd like to locate the
other children and their families for my Cousin.
