Subject: [ROOTS-L] Samuel K. Vaughan, Lucy E. Vaughan

I'm looking for more info on the family of Samuel King Vaughan, B-1824 in Mass. Raised his family in Columbia County, Wis. Served in the Civil War. Wife Luvinna, sons Myrick Douglas and Eugene, daughter Eugenia. This info is from the Wis, 1870 census.

I have a painting of a Lucy Eleanor Vaughan, B-1848 in Wis. She married Edwin Dennis Kaynor. Lucy is my husband's great grandmother. I can't find a connection between Lucy E. Vaughan and Samuel K. Vaughan. Family believed she was Samuel's daughter, but that doesn't seem right.
