Subject: [ROOTS-L] Venango County, PA Help

Good morning folks

I am trying to find a will or estate of the late Greeley Davis (b. 1788 - d.
1863).  He was born in NY but moved to Venango County after he had some of
his children. Two or three of his 12 children were born in Venango County.
Several history books on PA reveal information about Greeley and his wife
Lucy Dow but I would love to see if he left a will naming his children when
he died in 1863.

He reportedly had a son named Lewis Barnum Davis who moved to Lake County,
OH where he remained until his death in 1883.  He was a carpenter and
farmer.

Any help is appreciated.
