Hello Barbara

It's not clear if you have details of Susan's immigration,
have found her in census records other than 1901, know all
family members etc.

So I'll give you some places you can look - first, you
should check the Ontario Vital Stats for B/D/M for the
family. Did you find James' death record? Have you found
any births for any children? Have you found all marriages
of children?

You can get some help and find out where these records are
by going to the Ontario Genealogy section on
http://olivetreegenealogy.com/can/ont/ Check out the
Vital Stats section as there are links to online records.
Vital stats in Ontario started in 1869 so you should be
able to find lots on the family

You can also check USA census records after 1901, as well
as pre 1901 Canadian records. Find out where she was and
when she arrived in Canada. See
http://allcensusrecords.com/

Paris is in Brant County and you should check the Brant Co.
GenWeb to see what is available. Your Susan was about 85 in
1901 so she may have died not long after that census was
taken. Did you check for death records for her? Try Vital
Stats but don't overlook OCFA (Ontario Cemetery Finding
Aid) http://www.islandnet.com/ocfa

Here is James' death as indexed on Ancestry.
Name: James Bickle
Death Date: 6 or 7 May 1880
Death Location: Oxford
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1826
Birth Location: Dev,Eng

You'll want to get the full record as it has more
information such as cause of death, informant's name, etc.
This is available on Ancestry, on microfilm, or in person
at Ontario Archives (and other local archives)

Be sure to check out her son Harry's marriage record as it
shows his mother Susan with a different surname than you
have. (Horrall, not Crum)

Be sure and check the Newspaper Records section on
http://olivetreegenealogy.com/can/ont/npaper.shtml I am
pretty sure Brant Co. has a newspaper Births, Marriages,
Deaths Index online

I see from the 1901 census that her son was born in Ontario
in 1852 so you should be able to find the family on 1861,
1871, 1881, 1891 census - and perhaps 1851 if they were
settled by then

What about land records - have you checked those? There may
be a petition on file for land grants, and if so, those
petitions are a wealth of genealogical info.

 http://olivetreegenealogy.com/ont/land.shtml will get you
started, also see
http://olivetreegenealogy.com/ont/clri.shtml for help with
the CLRI (Ontario Land Record Index)

Good luck!
Lorine
