This is a new project involving this interesting source of genealogical information for the 1940's. When I looked online through several search engines, I could only find about 60 images -- so they're not that many online at this point. My collection is over 500 books and I'm planning to scan and upload them all, while collecting more each week. These books were issued between 1941 and 1945 during the Second World War. Several hundred books are in the collection and will be scanned in coming weeks. If you have some of these books that you would like to share, please feel free to email me for instructions for uploading and/or mailing the information. I'm excited about this new project, and expect it to grow significantly in size as the funeral cards have.
