Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: ROOTS-L Digest V06 #400

Why won't cousins----? I started genealogical research in 1959.
Immediately I ran into the problem. In my family, it was just a lack of
interest. I, being so enthused, couldn't understand why everyone else
wasn't also enthused. Sometimes they just aren't. My aunt said "What do
you care? They're just a bunch of bones in the dirt." That's just the way
some people are which is hard to understand when we are so gung ho about the
entire thing! But, I promise you, there are many more cousins who will go
out of their way to help you---even to the point of lying to make a good
story.
