Subject: [ROOTS-L] Heritage Quest Access

Peggy, when it happened to me, I found it was because I had installed a new security system and the fire wall was protecting me. Fortunately, the expert at Comcast was able to help me and the solution was very simple. Disable the security system long enough to log in, and once you are in, you will be able to work, but if you log out, you will have to disable the system again. It only stays disabled for 5 min in my Norton system. Be aware that the Security system is different from the virus protector. The other solution may be as simple the fact that your library card has expired and is no longer valid, but it sounds a lot like the problem I had. Hopes this helps.
