Subject: [ROOTS-L] Lewis County, Missouri research

Hi all,
I have some very elusive ancestors in Lewis Co, Missouri.... I've been 
trying to do some research online, but am not finding much in the way of 
information.
I have exhausted the usual sites: USGenWeb- Lewis Co. & RAOGK...... still 
not finding much at all.
Has anyone else had luck researching in this county? I'm just as eager to 
try some snailmail research...... If I knew where to write to for the best 
results.
The era I'm most interested in is the 1870s&1880s, and looking for the basic 
birth,death,marriage,burial records, etc.
