Subject: [ROOTS-L] Fw: Re: Green and Duke

 
 
     I am looking for a marriage between a Green lady and a Duke man.
    
     [I guess if she is a lady, I should say Duke is a gentleman.]
 
     The earliest Duke I have found is Pleasant Green Duke.  This suggests a
     marriage between Green and Duke and that Pleasant was given Green as a
     middle name.  I hope this was his mother's maiden name. 
 
     I shall appreciate hearing about this marriage I am wishing for, and
     knowledge that they had a son named Pleasant.  I do hope Pleasant grew
up to
     be a pleasant man!
