Ray, as you probably known, Ancestry is a fee based site for the most part.
Worth it if you use it!

by going to http://www.ancestry.com/ check the menu to the right and
you'll see
"What's New At Ancestry.com" click on and you will see
1901 and 1906 Canada Censuses
Ancestry.com is already home to the first and only fully indexed 1911 Census
of Canada. And now you can trace your Canadian ancestors one step further
back in time, thanks to the 6 million new names in the 1901 Census of Canada
and the 1906 Census of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.

on the main page under "More Collections" to the right of the US Census,
you'll note UK Census Collection and also "see all databases." When you
click ion all databases, you can type in United Kingdom or choose to
'browse' the database.

by typing in United Kingdom, View Record 1851 United Kingdom Census Sample
Census Records England 994,793 View Record United Kingdom and Ireland
Obituary Collection Birth, Marriage, & Death Records Ireland 60,170 View
Record Peerage of the United Kingdom and Ireland, Volumes I-IV Family &
Local Histories Ireland 2,630 View Record United Kingdom County Families
Family & Local Histories England 1,209 View Record The county families of
the United Kingdom, or, Royal manual of the titled and untitled aristocracy
of Great Britain and Ireland Family & Local Histories Ireland 1,175 View
Record United Kingdom, Royal Commission on Historical Manuscripts, Fifth
Report Reference & Finding Aids England 679

If you choose to browse, scroll down to the alphabet and for instance, click
on the E for England ... my word! the number of things that come up. do the
same for I "Ireland" or S for "Scotland" --- etc. I think you'll find that
there are a great number of listings.

If you are not a subscriber, then to
http://ancestry.couponcart.com/ancestry.htm?bfinfo=109411 for a free trial.

Go to the home page and tool around ... read the helps, etc. You'll get
some who will complain about the cost. It is not 'cheap,' but do remember
that it take $$$ to run this site and pay employees who are working at
updating it every day --- you would not work for nothing, would you? Again
I say, that if you use it, it is worth the price. If you are just toying
around with it on rare occasion, then it is not. Many are looking only for
freebies - nothing wrong with that - but everything in life is not free.

Hope this has helped.

Houston, Texas
