Karen,
Go back to the RootsWeb Mailing Lists. Open the Other and look for  
"Software". Click on that and you will find the FTM list and the FTM Help  list.
 
No need to join both, just join the FTM Help list.

line...?

Also, I tried to join FTM throught  Rootsweb\Mailing Lists - but I did not 
see it mentioned...I saw Surnames,  Countries, Other and inside Other I did not 
see  FTM.
