I received all sorts of census information and some hints about how to go about finding out about my grandfatheršs death. I will get busy now. Just for your information, what I have on the family is as follows: Ermelinda Clerici (Lena) Born May 8, 1883 in Berceto, Parma, Italy. Came to the US on the LaProvence out of Havre, arriving at Ellis Island on August 17, 1907 - was naturalized on November 5, 1959. Giacomo Mussi ­ born in 1873 in, I believe, Ghiare, Parma, Italy. He was a stone mason and came to the US on the Champagne out Havre, arriving at Ellis Island on December 2, 1902. George - oldest son - born 1911 William, son - born 1913 Joseph, son - born October 14, 1915 (my father) Kate, daughter - born 1919 According to my father, his father died when he was 5 which means, Giacomo (John) must have died in 1919. Now, it is possible that my father's recollections were off a bit which means Aunt Kate might not really be his full sister or that his dad died a bit later-- the plot thickens (or maybe not)!
