There's been some kind of hiccup at RootsWeb (it's been reported), but anyhow: this mailing list is only sort of working just now. If you want to post a message, send it to ROOTS-L@rootsweb.com. Although the address ROOTS-M@rootsweb.com should work, it currently isn't. If you're a ROOTS-M subscriber (ROOTS-L in mail mode) and want to unsubscribe, you'd normally write to ROOTS-M-request@rootsweb.com with the word unsubscribe in the subject line and in the body of the message. Try that, but if it bounces back to you as "address unknown" or something similarly cranky from the RootsWeb mail hub, drop me a note and ask me to unsubscribe you. I probably can do so.
