I have to admit that I have not sent for some birth/death records due to the expense. I go to the Health Dept. and copy down the information hoping someday soon we well again be able to get records that are public information. I thought that they can only be sold for what it costs to print them. Does anyone know what can be done about charging for these records and is it legal to do so? I was just wondering as it sure was helpful when I could get a genealogy copy for 25cents a few years ago. Does anyone know if Ohio has a place that holds the State School Records. Thank you.
