Subject: [ROOTS-L] Salt water swimming facility

In the early 1940s my family went swimming at a salt water facility 
in Evansville, Vanderburg Co, Indiana. I remember you paid an 
admission charge at the gate to get into the park and swimming facility.
Also, I seem to remember there was a sand beach or edge to the water. 
A rather large changing area was also on the property.

I believe it was in Evansville proper, not in the suburbs.

Can someone tell me the name of this facility ?
