OWT is not an original source, it is a search engine--the information came  
from the other databases--either WorldConnect, AWT, or WFT.  So whatever  you 
are seeing in OWT did come from another source. If the trees are not  currently 
showing up in WC/AWT perhaps they have been removed in the  meantime--OWT 
isn't updated on any regular basis. The WC trees say died  "before 1870" and not 
died IN 1870-and I'd assume that is all the submitter  knows--but you can 
always try contacting him.
