Subject: [ROOTS-L] 1817 school in Boston Massachusetts

I have found an advertisement that was published in the Boston Daily
Advertiser on March 31, 1817 for a school in which an ancestor taught
French. The school was either named or located at Marlboro Place, and
taught book keeping, navigation, English grammar, geography, writing, and
arithmetic along with the French.

Does anyone have any more information concerning this school, such as name,
location, or time period the school operated? Any further insights
appreciated.

Jim
