My apologies for not giving better information on the Ripple family.  
My father was Ronald James Ripple b. 22 Nov. 1900 Woodbury County, Iowa d. 19 Nov. 1962, Des Moines, Ia..  My grandfather was James Budwin Ripple b. 1 Jan. 1879 in Fulton, Ia. d. 20 Nov. 1936 Smithland, Ia. Great grandfather was James Andrew Ripple b. 4 May 1843, Mercer County, Pa. d. 2 March 1927 Maquoketa, Iowa.  Great great grandfather was James Ripple b. 8 Sept. 1803, D. 8 Aug. 1882, Maquoketa, Iowa.  Connecting names:  Cradit, Harman, Pierce, Eckert, Townsend, Lester, Clary.
