Chesterfield Township, Fulton Co., Ohio is right on the Ohio/Michigan line.
The town of Morenci, MI (pop. is still about 2500) is also right on the
Ohio/Michigan line. The south city limit ends on the Ohio border.

Oak Grove Cemetery is on the north end of Morenci. It is an absolutely
gorgeous cemetery and beautifully kept. There may be a transcription of the
cemetery located at Rootsweb/MI/Lenawee County. Walter Teeter, past mayor
of Morenci, did work for the local Historical Society. I believe he may
have put his cemetery transcription on line.

I lived in Morenci for nearly 30 years. Morenci is located in Lenawee County
and the county remains a state leader in farming....soy beans and corn.
Morenci is a farming town, bedroom community. It has a fantastic award
winning newspaper that goes back well over 100 years in the same family. It
is an EXCELLENT genealogical resource!!!!!
