Subject: [ROOTS-L] Railroad Info

In your postings you never mentioned that you contacted the Railroad
Retirement Board in Chicago. My father in law is now in his mid 80's and he
worked from 1948 til his retirement about 15 years ago. He has a file there
in Chicago at RRB but the nice thing is his wife also has a file for she
receives a check equal to 50% of his retirement. When your ancestor died,
wherever, there should have been a death record placed in his RRB retirement
file to stop his payments.
