To Connie Brian's inquiry about Palatinate, Germany.  I googled the  name and 
found that Heidleberg was its capital. 14-18 century.  And that  the Teutonia 
was a ship that listed a list or manifest dated 1861, Hamburg  Germany and 
Southhampton England to New York City.  It listed also _www.immigrantships.net_
