Do you have a date in 1986?  Odds are, if he died in the Cleveland area, 
that armed with that, there'll be something in the microfilm of the Plain 
Dealer, which the Cleveland Public Library, and I believe the Fairview 
Library (part of the county systerm) has also.  The CPL's Necrology file may 
be able to give you the date.  If you're not in the Cleveland area, but can 
supply a date, or the very least the month, I'd be willing to check the film 
for you.
