Subject: Family History Books, Baker, Cunningham, Karr, Muirheid

I got these books for our small town library. They are hard back and a
grand addition, and I am told by our librarian that all 4 of them been used
by folks researching there. Thank you, Nola, for all the work you put into
them and most especially for offering them to libraries across the world
for the cost of postage.

Hi Dixie - My wife has a Baker for a GG Grandmother, Cynthia Jane Adeline
Baker, daughter of Littleton Baker (b. 14 May 1811, Franklin Co., Georgia,
USA); son of John Baker (b. 1787 in Rowan Co., North Carolina); son of Elias
Baker (b. 22 Jan 1760 in Baltimore Co., Maryland); son of Charles Baker (b.
bef. 1722 in Baltimore County, Maryland); son of John Baker (b. 1691, Ann
Arundel County, Maryland); son of Maurice Baker (b. abt. 1640 in England).

Would the Baker book you refer to involve this family? If so, could you
give me more specifics on the book title and author so I can try an
interlibrary loan to study one?

I've dealt with two Baker lines that are confusing and blended that ended up
in Searcy County, Arkansas so I am not terribly sure that what I have
gathered is accurate. The Searcy County Bakers insist there are two
different families of them but I keep finding indications otherwise but it
is always cloudy information.
