Try this for a work around:  In Firefox click on "Tools" then on 
"Extensions" then choose the extensions you wish to use.  Two that I 
use frequently are "View this page in IE (Internet Explorer)" and 
"Zoom Image."  After you install these extensions, you need only 
right click with your mouse to use the one you choose. I don't 
subscribe to Ancestry, so can't verify that this will solve your 
problem, but it's worth a try.
