Subject: [ROOTS-L] ADOPTION TO FOSTERCARE

My foster sister had been adopted by a family in one Illinois county,
which then subsequently relinquished care and custody of her to my parents
in a different Illinois county. My parents later became her legal foster
parents.

How can we go about finding records of: the original adoption action;
whatever legal action was undertaken to terminate that adoption; and, the
legal action required to transfer her custody to my parents.
