She was a secretary for The Salvation Army, serving in both Paterson and New York City Born in Passaic, she lived in Paterson and Asbury Park and recently moved to Wall. She was predeceased by her husband, James; and her son, James. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Cheryl Dix of Ocean Township, and Paul and Kimberly Dix of Ocean Township; three granddaughters, Debra, Laurie and Joyce; two grandsons, Kevin and Sean; and eight great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. Ely Funeral Home, Neptune, is in charge of arrangements. from the Asbury Park Press
