http://www.usc.edu/isd/archives/la/cemeteries/

an interesting site that might lend some help .. at least with addresses,
etc.
but getting the death certificate will be the best way. Obits might be
available but few individuals or libraries can do a whole month's worth of
searching ... Aug 1971.

Also go to RAOGK - Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness ...
http://www.raogk.org/ Look for the following on the opening page and follow
instructions.....
<<<< Looking for a volunteer? Is this your first visit to our site? We
want your visit to be a successful one. Our staff has put together a list of
Frequently Asked Questions for you to view and read before making any
requests. A link to the volunteers will be provided after you have read the
FAQ's.>>>>
Take a good look at WHAT the volunteer says they can do .... don't send your
request to more than one volunteer at a time --- nothing is worse than
finding that you've spent time helping and finding the answer to find that
someone has asked ten others who were doing the same thing!
