While your advice is good that old trees should be removed to avoid  
duplicates, it isn't necessary when posting an updated GEDCOM to WorldConnect to  
remove the old GEDCOM first--as long as you use the original user code and  
password when uploading the updated file.  The updated GEDCOM will override  the old 
one automatically.  
 
When updating a tree submitted on the Ancestry side, care does have to be  
taken to ensure the old file is removed and that you are not creating a  
duplicate.  
 
Also, it should be noted that the same tree should not be uploaded on both  
the Ancestry and WorldConnect side--as the databases are merged for purposes of 
 browsing and searching.
