Subject: [ROOTS-L] 1890 Federal Census

I have been told that the 1890 Federal Census was destroyed by fire.  I 
recently found some of
my ancestors listed living in Ellis County, Texas, enumerated 16 June 1890. 
They used an entirely
different format but was clear and informative.  You experienced rooters, 
tell me about it.
