I have very little information. All I know is that he worked on the railroad in Texas, He and his wife Anna Mae (K)Cavanaugh. They had a son Fred Elmo Smith who was born in Palestine, Texas. in 1903, Fred Smith died from TB in about 1905. What I am looking for is some kind of Marriage, record, death record for Fred Smith. And a birth record for Fred Elmo Smith. I have searched dilligantly all through Ancestory.com and have come up with nothing. I have tried to search the railroads, the best I can. There might be some sites that I have not found. My great grandmother Anna Mae worked in a millenary shop around this time, and I believe it was also in Palestine, Texas. I do know that After my G.grandfather died, My g,grandmother and grandfather who was about 2 years old moved to Oklahoma, and she remarried a man by the name of Jess W. Losey.
