The name "Caty" is also a shortened version for "Caitlyn." A friend  
of mine named her daughter "Caitlyn" and she is called "Caty." Also,  
with my own name, I could have been called "Caty" but instead went  
with "Cathy." My full name is Cathleen. Notice it's with a "C" and  
not a "K." A very common error, believe me! LOL!!!
