He died 28 Feb 1958 in Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska. He was married to Ella Quackenbush (b. 1872 in Cohoes, New York). The family lore indicates this is a line of Cranes from the Mayflower. My problem, I haven't been able to verify because I have not been able to identify William's father or other ancestors. Any help with this would be appreciated. Joe Thurstenson
