Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: ROOTS-L Digest V06 #130

I've been a subscriber of Ancestry.com for many years and I definitely get
my money's worth! I used to go to the Mormon Library, order a census film,
wait for it to come in, then find time to go read it, hurriedly make notes and
then have to go home wondering what I missed, wondering when I'd have time to
go back and view it again--IF there were a vacant microfilm reader! Now I
have every census right here in my home office and I can read census at 2:00 AM
in my pajamas with no make-up and take my time doing it!! I love Ancestry,
and even though I am a proponent of "free genealogy" I consider Ancestry a
more efficient way of spending my genealogy dollar---Renting that film from
Salt Lake was not free. And all the clues, hints, contacts, brick wall
breakers, etc. are treasures well worth the cost!!
