Subject: [ROOTS-L] Local Gen Society Help
Sender: roots-in@roots-l.rootsweb.com

I am preparing a program for my local genealogical society for April on how
local societies are responding/changing in light of the changes in
researching that the internet has influenced. I am hoping that some of you
would be willing to share how you local society has responded or changed.
Also, if you have developed innovative programs to relate genealogy to your
community and to increase membership, I would be interested in hearing that.
I think that responses would be of general interest, but if you have a
really long response or wish to add details to a shorter response to the
list, you can email me directly at deasonh2@netzero.com.
