MUIRHEID Family Record book.  I have been giving away family history books to Libraries and Genealogical Societies but I have a lot more Muirheid books than the others.  Anyone can have a free copy of the Muirheid book by paying the shipping charge.  The Muirheid book covers the descendants of John Muirheid who was born in Glasgow, Scotland, sometime in the 1600s. He came to America in 1685 on the ship Henry and Francis.  He was one of the conventers who were banned from Scotland for refusing to renounce their covenant of loyalty to the Presbyterian faith.  He resided for a time on Long Island where he married Rebecca Bailey. They had 8 children. He moved to Hopewell, New Jersey in the early 1700s. He was the first High Sheriff of Hunterdon county.
