Can you please share your views of Pros and Cons on ANCESTRY Subscriptions.

What do you really get for the money and is it worth it. The web site does
not
really specify on what you get for the money. All info appreciated.

I'm very pleased with my subscription. And pleased at the new data bases
the company adds. My only complaint is the newspaper index does not zero in
well. It might have 200 entries for ... say...Joe Blow...but it might be J.
low or Job ow. Or whatever. Maybe a street name or a business, but not Joe
Blow.
I don't subscribe to the immigration file. I have no need for it because
I've already gotten mine at the NARA years ago.
The new Public Records has been a pleasure to access. It has given me
information on current relatives and where they live or have lived for the past
couple years. Sometimes it has spouses' names to help identify each.

So other than the newspaper data, I find Ancestry.com a worthwhile site.
