One thing of interest I have found....way back....it appears my adopted Mother's family has connections with my biological grandfather's family and certain members were actually cousins so you never know and I find it fascinating. There is also a member of the family who was never told who his biological father was. Lots of different ideas. Only two people knew for sure and both are gone now. This person does have children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and how are they ever going to know what their true line is without DNA or something. I think that is sad. I spend a lot more time researching my adoptive family mainly because they are the ones I grew up with and I have nephews of this family that I want to be sure they know what their line is. They know I am biologically their "cousin" but legally their Aunt. Don't lie about these things. Children who are interested (and most are at some point in their lives) will find out the truth eventually. Linda
