Subject: [ROOTS-L] A Decade of Cyndi's List

I can't believe it has been ten years since Cyndi's List began!  Around 
that time I was attempting to establish a web site for my used genealogy 
book business and was pretty clueless as to how to go about it.  Dear 
Cyndi was such a help answering my questions via a number of emails.  It 
was with this helpful and constructive attitude that she established the 
now one true source for genealogists world wide.  I've watched her site 
grow and remember Evan's birth eight years ago.  I believe she had a 
photo of the proud parents and baby Evan on her web site.  I was sorry 
to hear she is now dealing with family illnesses and, from my own 
experience, know how difficult it is to maintain a web site when your 
thoughts are elsewhere.  Thanks, Cyndi, for all your hard work for the 
internet genealogy community!
