My mother was adopted by her grandparents. My g grandmother was not married when she had her first daughter (mom's biological mother) so she went by her mother's maiden name. My grandmother then had my mother and gave her up for adoption to her mother and stepfather. My mom went by the name of her step-grandfather. So how do I list her in a genealogy chart. By the name her mother went by or the surname of her stepfather. Carole
