By that I mean, let us say, that a child was born Ed Smith; he was adopted and renamed John Jones. His children are, of course, named Jones. There exists a lineage for Smith. On an Ancestry Chart (Pedigree) for a Jones child what must one do to link with the Smith lineage? My gen. program is Family Tree Maker. Thanks Don
